On Thursday February 5th, we had the fantastic opportunity to meet some of UBC’s Faculty of Education alumni in Surrey.
While a tasty sandwiches and desserts were served, there were presentations from Dean Blye Frank, Dr. Wendy Carr, Judy Higginbotham and Curtis Wiebe. A rich discussion about forming an Education Alumni Chapter for the region followed.
We had a book display in the room and had some really useful conversations with teachers about their needs for resources.
